Reference letter for Ms. Taylor Masse
It is with great pleasure that | forward to you this letter of reference in support of Ms.
Taylor Masse. I have known Taylor since September 2015 as her instructor in the
Education Foundations, Law and Ethics three courses for pre-service teacher
candidates in the new two-year Bachelor of Education program at the University of
Windsor.
Taylor made an appointment to see me and all her other professors before she started.
the program. She wanted to ensure that she had all the materials well in advance so that
she could be fully prepared for the start of classes in September of that year, | was
impressed with her diligence, dedication and determination, She displayed a genuine
interest in learning and shifting her thinking, while accepting dissonance and ambiguity
‘as part of the transformation inherent in the learning process. She set high standards for
herself that were reflected in the quality of her preparation, participation and
assignments in these courses.
Taylor is resourceful, tenacious, a self-starter, and has strong analytical and written
skills, She also possesses excellent interpersonal skills that she uses effectively to
develop solid relationships with her peers and faculty members. Moreover, she displays
an easy-going, positive and respectful attitude, and a wonderful sense of humor, Her
peers frequently solicit her advice regarding issues they encounter in their own work,
and Taylor, wholeheartedly and without hesitation attempts to offer her assistance,
while always maintaining an optimistic disposition
I truly believe that future opportunities will enable Taylor to build on the skills and
competencies that she has acquired during her education thus far and her academic ancl
professional experiences. She has the potential to hone the leadership and management
skills necessary to achieve her professional goals of becoming a leader in the systemShe is an individual with passion and resilience who demonstrates a strong commitment
to rigor and excellence. Taylor is a dedicated educator who has a proxtuctive future
ead of her. I fully and without hesitation recommend her for any teaching position
because I believe she will excel at anything she undertakes, and will be an ayset to the
institution where she is employed.
