II. BRIEF CONTEXT/PERSPECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY

Habits are hard to break, and many people who have them are not even aware they possess them. We
encounter them everywhere. We read them on the social media, in the comments left by Filipinos on a timely and
popular post on Facebook, on a blog, or on a news website. We see Filipinos catcalling on the streets, having the
bahala na attitude in every task that we fail to do and the common filipino time, not knowing that our children
are imitating these habits. If not taught at an early age to resolve them, these children will carry these bad habits
and influence their children later on in life

I believe that the bad habits are overcoming the good habits among Filipinos. And in order to make our country,
all its regions and provinces, and every Filipinos wherever they are in the world truly rise and experience, not only
national development, but also human development, we have to break our own bad habits.

The project will start with the planning of a childrens story book centering on good filipino habits. This will
compile a series of story board designs and draft revisions. The book will be based on the interviews of the
mothers in the community, asking them what habits are needed to be instilled in these children. Once the story
book is approved, published and printed, there will be a book launch that will serve as the culminating event.
During the event, there will be storytelling, teaching of a song about good habits and distribution of the book
