Illinois House bill HB2510 seeks to prohibit for-profit private vendors

from providing services relating to community correctional supervision

in the state of Illinois. This restriction would exclude successful
community-based providers from meeting local community needs and
offering local jobs to citizens. Communities and Government agencies
should be free to choose the best and most cost effective providers
without such restriction.
