Zamboanga City

Zamboanga City is called Asias Latin City because of its Spanish-tinged Chabacano
dialect dating back to the earliest foreign occupation of the Philippines in the
1600s. This musical language is a huge part of Zamboangeno culture. Youll find a
lot of its influence in local song and dance.

Dapitan City

Dapitan traces its beginnings long before the Spanish conquistadores set foot on the
island of Mindanao. Its earliest settlers were the Subanens, a nomadic tribe of
Indonesian stock known to have settled and lived along the banks of the river or
suha out of which their present day tribal identity originated. Dubbed as the
fastest growning tourism economy of the south, Dapitan boasts a number of world-
class resorts and the sole one-of-a-kind theme park in Mindanao.

Dipolog City

Dipolog, the Orchid City, most known for its bottled sardines goodness offers idyllic
atmosphere of multiculturism, breathtaking sunsets and sumptuous delicacies
