1.3 VS 3: Technical Training on Bosch Video Systems (Master Level)

Course Duration: 2 days

Target Audience:
Installation / Commissioning Engineers
Technical / Support Engineers
Project Engineers / Project Managers

Objective: This training will teach you advanced concepts of the Bosch Video Management
System (BVMS) including the Video Recording Manager (VRM). It is designed as
follow-up train-ing to the BVMS expert-level course.
It will cover features and functionalities, which are required in large, distributed or
com-plex Bosch VMS deployments.
You will learn how to configure and operate advanced BVMS components and
features.
Each lesson contains hands-on experience on BVMS.
After the course, an online exam is offered. If passed successfully a certificate
with the accreditation BVMS Master Level will be issued to the participant.

Content:
BVMS additional components (Video Streaming Gateway, Mobile Video Service,
Enterprise Management Server)
Introduction to advanced features and how to configure them:
o 3rd-party camera integration: ONVIF, RTSP, MJPEG
o VRM deployment options: Dual (mirrored) and failover recording
o Large or distributed deployment options: Enterprise System, live and play-
back sites

Pre-requisite:
Participation in the Bosch VMS Expert Level Training (3 days). When
the Expert and Master Level Training is offered in one block (5 days),
the prerequisites of the Expert Level Training will apply

Training Regulations & Booking Procedure

Regulations
In order to enable organization of courses in a timely and efficient way, the following regulations
apply:

Bosch Authorized / Direct Partners


First priority for courses will be given to Bosch Direct Partners
Each course is limited to 2 persons per company
Sub-dealers
Sub-dealers of direct partners should be registered through their respective Bosch
Partners. Acceptance of registrations is subject to approval of Bosch.
Each course is limited to 1 person per company

General regulations
Course reservations are accepted by E-mail
Application forms should be sent in at least 2 weeks prior to the course start. All forms to
be signed & stamped before sending to Bosch.
Bosch Security Systems has the right to cancel a course in the case of insufficient
enrolments.
The receipt of an application form will be confirmed as soon as possible.
Each participant will receive a final confirmation before the start of the course, specifying
place and time.
In case the course is charged, Seats can be confirmed only after Payment is made and/or
Purchase Order is received (for partners with credit facility)

Participants should officially enroll themselves by filling in the application form & emailing to:

Note : Once a seat is confirmed and will not be able to attend, kindly inform us by email /
fax at least 2 days prior to the training for a formal cancellation. In case of no show
without cancellation, Bosch Security Systems will charge you with USD 200 per day

Evaluation
Each course is ended by a formal evaluation of the content and the learning aspects. Participants
Can also add their personal comments to a course.
