 ABSTRACT

We all have come across the feeling of forgetting our phones at home, that strange sensation of
being dejected from the world. The smart phones have taken our lives by storm..from the
moment of getting up in the morning to the sound of our phones, till night after listening to our
fav song before we go to bed. Smartphone apps have changed the way we communicate with
each other on a daily basis, whether it is on personal or professional work front. Every year the
apps market grows double folds, at an estimated worth over 25 billion $ each person in India has
over 2 million choices of app to chose from. The time and cost saving advantages of various apps
are so large that it overshadows the little disadvantages it has.

And as a matter of fact In India tens and thousands of students take admission every year in
different colleges, it is really cuber some for parents to locate the cab services around them that
pick up and drop students from and to their homes due to the commotion of admission

The app provides the choice of selecting cities to the user which then gives an array of options of
drivers/cab services that run around different areas in the city. More specifically it gives the
name and phone numbers of drivers for parents/students to contact and arrange meeting.

My main purpose of creating this application is to provide easy and comprehensive information
to all the people seeking cabs info, so they can be stress free and and dont feel any dejection and
inconvinence. The app is made on the platform Android Studio 2.3.3 which is the basis for most
of the apps in the online market.
