GYMFORMPLUS is a revolutionary electro-muscular stimulator designed for those who want a complete workout,

The GYMFORMPLUS control panel allows you to personalise your workout or massage. Simply place the self
adhesive pads on the muscles groups of your choice (see illustrated guide) and adjust the level & length settings to
your desired workout or massage. Powered by only two 9 volt batteries GYMFORMPLUS is completely safe.

With our hectic lifestyles, GYMFORMPLUS is ideal for people who are too busy to get to the gym regularly.

Safety is always important, therefore we ask that you familiarize yourself with all of the information in this booklet
prior to using the GYMFORMPLUS. It is imperative that all persons contemplating the use of this or any other
fitness product read and understand the instructions provided. An informed participant is a safe participant! We
hope that you have many productive sessions with your GYMFORMPLUS!

WARNINGS:
GYMFORMPLUS is designed to be used by healthy adults. However, the following precautions should be taken
when using it:
-Before undertaking any exercise program, including GYMFORMPLUS, consult with your family physician to
ensure that you are capable of conducting a regular routine without putting undue stress on your body.
-If you have never exercised before, are pregnant, recently had surgery or suffer from any significant illness,
including epilepsy, hemophilia, diabetes, cancer, heart disorders, neuromuscular disorders and more, you should
not conduct any
exercise routine, including GYMFORMPLUS, unless under the written direction of your physician.
-GYMFORMPLUS, is intended to be used to massage and exercise your major muscle groups, like you would in a
spa or gym. Do not apply GYMFORMPLUS electrodes to your eyes, face, the side or front of your neck or your
genitals, on scars, cracked, irritated or infected skin areas, on injuries or areas with limited movement (fractures,
sprains), metal implants. Do not use GYMFORMPLUS while drowsy or sleeping. Do not cross electrodes (Pads)
over your heart (i.e., do not place electrodes with wires of the same color on your chest and back at the same time).
-In some cases, the use of electrodes can produce temporary redness.
-GYMFORMPLUS is not a medical or therapeutic device.

IMPORTANT:
-Keep GYMFORMPLUS out of the reach of children.
-Do not connect the GYMFORMPLUS cable pins to any other objects.
-Do not use GYMFORMPLUS at the same time you are using another device that transfers electric current to the
body (e.g., another electrical muscle stimulation device).
-Do not touch the pins when the unit is ON.
-Do not use GYMFORMPLUS and any other machine at the same time.

USING GYMFORMPLUS FOR THE FIRST TIME


When using GYMFORMPLUS for the first time, carefully read the instructions and the following guidelines in order
to become familiar with the controls.

WHEN YOU DO THE FOLLOWING CONTROL CHECK, MAKE SURE THE ELECTRODES (Self Adhesive Pads)
ARE NOT IN CONTACT WITH YOUR BODY OR ANY OTHER CONDUCTIVE MATERIAL.

CONTROL CHECK
Load two 9 Volt batteries into the back of your GYMFORMPLUS.
Ensure ALL control dials (Pulse, Length & Interval) are set to 0.
Turn on the POWER. The pilot light should come on and blink.
To see how the controls work, try increasing the length of contraction (LENGTH). The blinking light should stay lit
longer, which means that the contraction (the transfer of signal to the muscle) is longer. Now check the INTERVAL
control (time between contractions). You will notice that the time between contractions becomes longer and the light
stays on longer.
Turn all control dials back to 0 and turn the device OFF.
To keep your GYMFORMPLUS in excellent condition, store it in the case after each use. Make sure the unit is
OFF.

HOW DOES ELECTRO MUSCULAR STIMULATION (EMS) WORK ?


GYMFORMPLUS emits an intermittent signal which travels down the colored wires to the muscle via the
electrodes (Self Adhesive Pads).
In order for the muscle to receive the signal it must be transmitted between positive and negative poles to create a
full circle. This is why GYMFORMPLUS has colored wires in groups of two so that each pair corresponds to one
positive pole and one negative pole. When placing the electrodes (Self Adhesive Pads) on the muscles it is very
important to study the Illustrated Guide included in this manual so that both wires of the same color and their
electrodes (Self Adhesive Pads) are located at either end of the SAME muscle. If the electrodes are not placed in
the correct position, the signal cannot complete the circle and the muscle will not receive the signal.

EXPLANATION OF THE GYMFORM CONTROLS


PULSE: This is the power the muscle is working at.
PULSE 1, is the power adjustment to the red and blue wires
PULSE 2, is the power adjustment to the yellow and black wires
The higher you adjust the levels of Pulse 1 or 2, the greater the massage/workout to the targeted muscle(s).

LENGTH: this is the muscle contraction time. A shorter length is like doing half sit-ups. You don't go through the full
motion, which means your muscles contract for a shorter period of time.

INTERVAL: this is the time between contractions. The shorter the interval, the greater the workout.
For massage sessions, adjusting for your personal comfort level, use low to medium Pulse, low to medium Length
and medium to high Interval.

ATTACHING THE GYMFORMPLUS SELF ADHESIVE PADS


The GYMFORMPLUS unit should be switched OFF
The GYMFORMPLUS Pads are self-adhesive.
To attach the self-adhesive electrodes (pads), simply remove the green piece of plastic from the pad and place the
pad on the area you want to work on (Please refer to the illustrated guide when placing the pads on your muscles).
Connect the wires to the electrodes (self adhesive pads).
Turn ON the GYMFORMPLUS at the lowest power and gradually increase depending on the kind of session you
require (Massage or Workout).
When you are finished your session, gently remove the pads from the colored wires.
To keep the electrodes (Self Adhesive Pads) in perfect condition, store them between sessions the way they came
when they were new: with the piece of green plastic attached to the pad.

NOTE: Due to the contact between the self-adhesive electrode pads and your skin, after a number of sessions, a
certain amount of body oil will build up on the pads and they may not stick as well to your skin.
To ensure that the pads remain adhesive for as many sessions as possible, Turn OFF the GYMFORMPLUS and
wipe pads with a damp cloth after each use.

HOW TO USE GYMFORMPLUS


To start a session with your GYMFORMPLUS, decide on the type of workout/massage and the area you want to
work on. Consult the illustrated guide and explanations in this instructional manual which explains where to place
each of the pads.
You will notice from the illustrationed guide the electrodes (Self Adhesive Pads) are connected in groups of two (each
colored wire is divided into two, so one electrode has a positive charge and one a negative charge) Both electrodes with
the same color wire should be attached to either end of the same muscle in order for the signal to to complete its
circuit.When using double "Butterfly" pads both parts of the pad should be attached to same color wire.
ALWAYS ENSURING THAT TWO ELECTRODES (Self Adhesive Pads) WITH THE SAME COLOR WIRE ARE
NEVER PLACED ON THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE BODY AT THE SAME TIME CAUSING THE SIGNAL TO
PASS THROUGH THE HEART.
The intensity and time spent using GYMFORMPLUS for workout/massage sessions will vary depending on each persons
needs, fitness levels & muscle tone.
Start with PULSE, INTENSITY, LENGTH dials at their lowest levels gradually increasing them as you become used to the
system.
When using GYMFORMPLUS for the first time we recommend a basic workout/massage of 5 minutes per muscle group,
building up the time, intensity and number of weekly sessions as you feel comfortable and to maximise results.
If you "overwork" your muscles with GYMFORMPLUS you may notice that muscles feel tired or sore just as they would
with any other kind of workout.
NOTE: In the first few attempts, you may NOT notice a visible reaction in your muscles. This could be because the
electrodes (Self Adhesive Pads) are not properly positioned. Do not give up. Follow the instructions and keep
trying. You'll soon start to notice the results.

WHERE TO PLACE THE GYMFORMPLUS ELECTRODES/SELF ADHESIVE PADS:


Remember that in the first sessions you should work at a lower power level until you become familiar with the
device. Read the instructions carefully for best results and ensure that both wires of the same color are attached to
The Electrodes/Self Adhesive Pads located at either end of the same muscle. For the purpose of the Illustrations,
Electrodes/Self Adhesive Pads will be simply referred to as pads. Butterfly pads can be used on all larger muscles
instead of two round pads.

ILLUSTRATION 1. Pectorals:
Place two pads (both with the same color wire) vertically on left side of chest and two pads (both with the same
color wire) vertically on right side of chest. On back, between shoulder baldes, Place two pads with same color
wire verticaly on left side and two pads with same color wire vertically on right side.

ILLUSTRATION 2. Shoulders-Pectorals:
Place one pad on front part of left shoulder and another pad (same color wire) on back of left shoulder, repeat
process on right shoulder. Place two pads (both with the same color wire) vertically on left side of chest and two
pads (both with the same color wire) vertically on right side of chest.

ILLUSTRATION 3. Arms - Biceps & Triceps


Place one pad on front part of left shoulder and one pad (same color wire) on back of left shoulder, repeat process
on right shoulder. To work biceps (muscles on upper/inner arm) place two pads on left bicep (same color wire), two
pads on right bicep (same color wire), To work triceps (muscles on upper/outer arm), simply move pads from biceps
to triceps, leaving remaining pads on shoulders.

ILLUSTRATION 4. Abdominal muscles I


Place two pads (same color) vertically on left/middle of the abdominal area and two pads (same color) vertically on
right/middle of abdominal area. To work the oblique muscles place two pads (same color) vertically on outer sides
of left and right abdominals.

Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on left/middle of abdominal area and two pads (same color wire)
vertically on right/middle of abdominal area. Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on left side of the lower
back and two pads vertically on the right side of lower back.

Place two pads diagonally on upper and lower left abs (same color wires) and two pads diagonally on upper and
lower right abs (same color wires). On lower back place two pads (same color wire) diagonally on left side and two
pads (same color wires) diagonally on right side.

Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on back of left thigh, two pads (same color) vertically on back of right
thigh, two pads (same color) vertically on left calf and two pads (same color) vertically on right calf.

Left leg, Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on outer quadricep and two pads (same color wire) vertically on
inner quadricep. Right leg, Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on outer quadricep and two pads (same
color wire) vertically on inner quadricep.

ILLUSTRATION 9. Buttocks:
Place one pad on left buttock and one pad (same color wire) below left buttock. Place one pad on right buttock and
one pad (same color wire) below right buttock. Place two pads vertically below the hip on both left and right sides
of the butt.

Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on left side of back between shoulder blades and two pads (same color
wire) vertically on right side of back between shoulder blades. Place two pads (same color wire) vertically on left
side of lower back and two pads (same color wire) vertically on right side of lower back.
ILLUSTRATION 11. Knees
Left leg, Place one pad on left side above knee and one pad on right side above knee (both pads with same color
wire). Right leg, Place one pad on left side above knee and one pad on right side above knee (both pads with same
color wire).

Left leg, Place one pad on left side of ankle and one pad on right side of ankle (both pads with same color wire).
Right leg, Place one pad on left side of ankle and one pad on right side of ankle (both pads with same color wire).

WARRANTY:
GYMFORMPLUS is warranted to be free from manufacturers defects for a period of one year. This warranty does
not cover damage from misuse, negligence commercial use, abnormal wear & tear, accidents or tampering. Any
unit determined to be defective will be replaced with the same item or an equivalent item of equal or greater value.
In no event will Industex be liable for incidental, consequential or special damages. In all cases, the manufacturer
and the seller decline all responsibility if the device has been used incorrectly.
Some states/countries do not allow the exclusion of incidental, consequential or special damages, so the
preceeding exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may
have other rights, which vary from state to state or country to country.
