Miniball
Thank you to those few parents who came along on
Thursday 31 August to support the children at the
Interschool Miniball competition at Walter Nash
Stadium. We took two teams, one Year 3 and 4 and
the other a Year 5 and 6 team, and they played several
games over the course of the day. We had a few
draws, and a couple of losses, but I was very proud of
the skill and sportsmanship shown by all students on the day. Its always
wonderful to see the children doing something they are passionate
about. We have a girls Futsal festival coming up on 18 th September at
Walter Nash, and if youre available to come and support the teams
please pop in. Its always great to have parents cheering Epuni School
on from the sidelines. Thank you to Whaea Karen for organising these
events for us.
Parking in school grounds and outside on the road
Weve recently experienced some issues with parents parking in the
school grounds just before and after school. We ask parents and
caregivers NOT to park in the grounds during the following times 8.30
9.00am and 2.45 3.15pm. This is because at that time of the day
students are moving around, entering and exiting the school and it is a
danger to them. We also ask that you dont park on the yellow lines
outside the school. It is very difficult for those on road patrol to see up
and down Waiwhetu Road when cars are parked there. This road is very
dangerous, and our road patrollers do a fabulous job of helping both
parents and students to cross safely.

Koha Kitchen
This Friday 15 Sept is We are fortunate enough for our students to have access to hot lunches
Celebration of Learning three days a week through the Koha Kitchen, which is part Common
