REACH Statement

The Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, also known as
REACH, shall primarily ensure protection of human health and the environment. Therefore it stipulates various obligations
for different types of economic operators.

EMEA subsidiaries of the Avnet group (Avnet) doing business for EBV Elektronik, Avnet Silica, Avnet Abacus, Avnet
Embedded and Avnet United business units, are suppliers of articles which are not intended to release any substances
under normal or foreseeable conditions of use (under the definitions of REACH).

Avnet, as a distributor, does not certify compliance with REACH on behalf of the original manufacturers, since we e.g.
do not control the manufacturing process of the products we supply. We advocate that our manufacturers make their
environmental information available on their websites and work closely with our suppliers, in order to be able to provide
you with their original declarations upon request.

Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) according to Article 33

Avnet is fully aware of the requirements stated in Article 33 of the REACH Regulation and endeavors to provide its
customers with relevant information available from our suppliers in a timely manner.

The current list of SVHCs (Candidate List) is published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and may be
accessed here.
