ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND GRADUATION CEREMONY

Notice is hereby given that the 19th Annual General Meeting of members of the Tanzania
Institute of Bankers will be held on 27th September 2017 from 1500 hours (03.00 p.m.) at
Marquee Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro, Kivukoni Road, Dar es Salaam.

You are also notified that the 17th Graduation Ceremony will be held immediately after the
Annual General Meeting at the same venue starting at 03.30 hours.

AGENDA

19.1 Opening of the Meeting.

19.2 Adoption of the Agenda.
19.3 Confirmation of the Minutes of the 18th Annual General Meeting held on 28th September
2016.
19.4 Chairmans Statement.
19.5 Adoption of the Councils Report and Audited financial Statements for the Year Ended
31st December 2016.
19.6 Appointment of External Auditors for the Financial Year 2017.
19.7 Report on the Institutes Programme of Activities and its Progress of Implementation for
the Financial Year 2017.
19.8 Election of Members of the Governing Council and its Committees.
19.9 Any other Business.
19.10 Closure of the Meeting.

All members who have fully paid their subscription fees for the financial year 2017 are invited to
attend and are requested to confirm their attendance to the Registrar/Secretary to the
Governing Council before 16th September 2017.

Any member with any other business to be discussed should duly notify the Registrar/Secretary
to the Governing Council before 16th September 2017.

Members are also reminded to complete the TIOB online member survey before the day. The
survey form is available on TIOB website at www.tiob.or.tz
