LCM: The least common multiple of two numbers is the smallest number (not zero)

GCF: The greatest common factor is the greatest factor that divides two numbers.
(Note:Iftherearenocommonprimefactors,theGCFis1.)

Work on two numbers (e.g. 12 and 18) to show how to get the LCM and GCF using
thefactortreeandthecontinuousdivisionmethod.

3. The pair will find the LCM and GCF of2 numbers which corresponds to numberthey
havepickedearlier.
4. One half of the pair will use the factor tree method, while the other will use the
continuousdivisionmethod.
