SYMPTOMS

Selling price is not defaulting on Sales Order

The issue can be reproduced by executing the following steps:


1. Create Order in the Order Management UI
2. Add Customer details at Header
3. Add a Line to the order
4. Price is not defaulted

CAUSE

Pricing Setup is not correct

SOLUTION

Complete pricing setup be executing the following steps

1. Need to setup values for look type "ORA_QP_CUST_PRICING_SEGMENT" under "Manage Standard Lookups"
2. Add customer under "Manage Customer Pricing Profile"
3. Add customer profile here
4. Create strategy with "Manage Pricing Strategy"
5. Add segment under "Manage Pricing Segment"
6. Create Price List, and add with Strategy
7. Assign Strategy with Segment.
