Tether Ball Rules 2.
The game is started by the person in the
1. Draw a line separating the sides.
2. Play is started by determining who serves
first by playing rock, paper, scissors.
3. Play is begun with a serve. The serve is
taken by holding the ball in one hand and
hitting it with a fist in direction the server is
going.
4. Play continues by attempting to hit the ball
when it comes on a players side with a flat
hand or fist.
5. Ball may be caught at any time.
6. No bubbles with the ball.
7. No one is allowed to rope at any time.
8. If a violation occurs, one wind around the
pole should be removed prior to restarting
play by the team that did not rope.
9. The winner is determined by the first player
to completely wrap the ball around the pole.
10. Games may be played with one, two, or
three people on a side.
Knock Out
Object: To make a basket before the person in front
of you to eliminate them from the game and to score
before the person in front of you to remain in the
game. The winner is the last person left in the
game.
Players begin at the free throw line. They
determine the order they will shoot in and stand in a
single file line at the free throw line. The first
person in line shoots. If this person misses, he/she
will get the rebound and shoot until a basket is
made. He/she may shoot from anywhere on the
court after the initial shot from the free throw line.
After the 1st player shoots his/her first shot, the next
player in line may shoot from the free throw line. If
they make his/her shot before the person in front of
them, that person is out. After a player makes
his/her basket or is eliminated, they must get the
rebound and give it to the next person in line. They
then go to the end of the shooting line if still in the
game.
4-Square Rules
1. The object of the game is to remain in the
serving square (number one square) as long
as possible.

bouncing the ball in his/her square and
hitting it to another square with two open
hands.
3. The other players must let the ball bounce
only once in their square and hit the ball to
another player with two open hands.
4. The ball may not bounce on a line.
5. The ball may not bounce more than once in
a players square.
6. When a player has committed a foul, they
must go to the end of the waiting line (if
there is no one waiting, they move to square
number 4). All players rotate to the square
with the next lower number (ex: 4 to 3, 3 to
2, 2 to 1) if the person in a lower number
square is out. If no one ahead of them is
out, they do not rotate.
7. The player in square no. 1 always restarts
play.
8. Players are never allowed to hold the ball,
use bubbles, catch the ball and slam it down
or use fists to hit the ball.
Waiting
Line

5 Passes
Object: For a team to make FIVE
consecutive passes. Score one point when
this is done. Play to first team to five.
Start game with a jump ball. Team that
gains possession passes to teammates.
Person with ball may NOT move feet but
may have a pivot foot. Ball may only be
held for 3 seconds. Only one person can
guard person with the ball. Must be at least
an arms length away. Ball may be
intercepted or knocked down but cannot be
hit out of the hands of person with the ball.
Ball goes to team that THREW it last.
