What is the Hackathon event?

Hackathon 2017 is a 24 hour hackathon, organized by TCE in collaboration with Honeywell Technology Solutions
Lab. It is an event where students with a just get it done attitude students will build innovative solutions around
themes viz., Natural Language Processing, Data Analytics, Image Processing, Chatbots and Mobile Apps.

What do I build?
Build a minimum viable technical solution on a selected theme; Hacks will be ranked on workable solution,
creativity, user experience & general impressiveness. Be creative and have fun coding and experimenting.

Who can participate?

Students of all levels in any dept of our institution with software knowledge can sign up. If you are
passionate about learning new technologies, cracking challenging problems, we want you here!

How do teams work?

Hackathons are more fun when you work together! We want you in teams of 4. Gather your friends and
colleagues and signup for the event.

How does judging/pitching work?

After the 24 hour development period, a panel of judges will choose the top team(s) to present their
solutions to everyone present.
What should I bring?
Bring your ID Card for admission and your laptop for hacking. Well provide snacks and meals throughout
the event. We also recommend bringing a jacket, pillow, sleeping bag, toothbrush & deodorant.

Does this cost registration money?

No. Admission is free. Just register and show up at the CCC (Main building) on 15th Sep 2017! We'll provide food,
caffeine, Wi-Fi and a place for you to hack for the entire duration of the event.
