GENERAL CONDITIONS

A. Customs open Public Auction will be held at CDU Auditorium, Central Disposal Unit, 3rd Floor, Sri Lanka Customs,
Colombo 11 From 10.00 a.m. on 31st of May, 2017.

B. INSPECTION DATE & TIME:

Date: 29th and 30th of M ay 2017. (Time: Between 10.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.)
Goods can be inspected at respective locations mentioned in the auction list.

C LIST OF ITEMS
List of items offered, General conditions and further details could be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director of
Customs, Central Disposal Unit of the Sri Lanka Customs, situated at the Third Floor of Customs House, No. 40, M ain
Street,Colombo 11 on payment of Rs.25/= on 29th and 30th of M ay 2017

Further, all buyers are hereby informed that the list of items is available at official website of Sri Lanka Customs
www.customs.gov.lk
D Registration and Refundable Deposit
All individuals who wish to bid at the Public Auction should pay a Refundable Deposit of Rs.10,000/= and register themselves at
Central Disposal Unit of Sri Lanka Customs on 29th and 30th of M ay 2017 from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.
Refundable Tender Sale deposits held would not be considered as valid in this regard.
D PAYMENTS
The successful bidders should pay 50% of the successful bid value on the date of auction and the balance to be
made within three (03) public working days from the date of Auction Sale.

E DELIVERY
The successful bidder is required to make payment in full and take delivery of goods within 03 working days from the date of
awarding auction. Failure to do so will result in the award of each item being invalidated and the paid amount being forfeited and
their participation for the Tender sales and Public Auctions at Customs could be suspended at the discretion of Director General
of Customs.
F The Director General of Customs reserves the right to withdraw any item put up for sale at any time. The decision of the Tender
Board shall be final on any matter related to the Auction Sale.

G Successful Bidder Should have to pay any storing charges and make arrengments to weigh the goods at SAGT prior to delivery.

H The bidder must satisfy himself to the condition of the goods and the quantities thereof, and the Director Genaral of
Customs does not warrant the quality, quantity or condition of the said goods or the title to the goods. The purchaser
shall not be entitled to any remission of the purchase price on any ground whatsoever.

I This Auction sale will be done as per the conditions laid by the Government Gazette Notification No. 291 of 30.03.1984.
