Mentoring
Program
This ministry offers an opportunity
for Christian youth and adult men-
tors from Greensboro area
churches to build Christ-centered
relationships that encourage all
participants to share their stories,
listen to each other without judg-
ment and discover the purpose
that God has on their lives.

Saint James Presbyterian Church,


the hosting church, was awarded
a grant by the Fund for Theological
Education to support this year long
mentoring program.

Activities include:
Adult Mentoring Training
A Weekend Retreat for Youth &
Mentors
Monthly Activities in the Triad
Worship Experiences at All
Participating Churches
Fun Activities such as college
tours, park visits, service project
Creative Expression of Dance,
Music & Spoken Word
One-on-One Conversations
A Celebration Banquet
Can We Talk?

To participate you will need to:


Complete an application
Agree to participate through
August 2011
Attend a weekend retreat

What is required of the parents?


Parents must attend an orientation
meeting, sign permission for youth
participation, agree to provide trans-
portation to monthly activities, com-
plete an evaluation form at the end
and attend a celebration banquet.

How much does this mentoring


program costs?
Zero cost to participate. The entire
program is funded by a grant
awarded by
