To outline procedures for performing welding works at worksite

Scope

This procedures is applicable for all types/ranges of welding works at worksite

Responsibility

Project Director, Project Manager, Site Agent, Supervisors and Safety Officer is responsible to relate the
procedures prior to mobilization work

Procedures

- Qualified personnel with certificates otherwise approved.

- Proper welders attire and PPE as required.
- Used for the said purpose of work only
- Safe distance from combustible items and electrical power.
- Proper disposal of spent welding rods.
- Rain ,thunder ,lightning to STOP WORK
- Housekeeping after days work.
- Area of work barricaded and Signages put up.
- Fire Watcher present.
- Cables to be laid proper to avoid tripping hazard.
- Ensure earthling properly done.
- Fire Extinguisher in Place.
- Fire Blankets and Water hoses available.
