IN THE TITLE IV DISCIPLINARY MATTER

INVOLVING THE
RT. REV. JON BRUNO, RESPONDENT

RESTRICTION UPON EXERCISE OF MINISTRY PENDING APPEAL

In accordance with Title IV, Canon 17.6 of the Canons of the Episcopal Church, the
President of the Disciplinary Board for Bishops, while an appeal of the matter is pending,
may place restrictions upon the exercise of the Respondents ministry. Respondent, the Rt.
Rev. Jon Bruno has appealed the Order of the Hearing Panel in this matter. The President
of the Disciplinary Board for Bishops, having received notice of the appeal, finds it
appropriate under the circumstances to restrict Respondents ministry as set out below
while this matter is on appeal.

THEREFORE, for the period of time Respondents appeal is pending, the ministry
of the Rt. Rev. Jon Bruno is restricted, as follows: Effective January 1, 2018 and during
the time the appeal of this matter is pending, Bishop Bruno shall refrain from the exercise
of the gifts of ministry conferred by ordination (Canon IV.2, definition of Sentence) and
shall not exercise any authority over the real or personal property or temporal affairs of the
Church (Canon IV.19.7).

This restriction does not supersede or affect the Partial Restrictions on the Ministry
of Bishop Bruno placed by the Presiding Bishop on Bishop Bruno on June 28 and August
1, 2017. Canon IV.7.13.

ORDERED this 20th day of September, 2017.

The Rt. Rev. Catherine M. Waynick,

President, Disciplinary Board for Bishops
