ABSTRACT

SERVICE QUALITY OF BUILDING PERMIT (IMB) AT AGENCY FOR


INVESTMENT, ONE STOP SERVICE AND EMPLOYMENTOF BARRU REGENCY

The main problem analized in the study was about quality service. The
objective of the study was to understand the quality service of building permit (IMB)
at the agency for investment, one stop service, and employment of Barru regency.

The study applied a descriptive method with a guantitative approach. The data
for the study were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and
dokument study. Respondents for the study were selected using accidental sampling
technique.

The result of the study showed that the timeliness of services were categorized
as good, accuracy of service was categorized as good, cortesy and hospitality were
good, responsibility was good, easy of getting service was excellent, and service
comfort was excellent. Based on the study result, it could be concluded that the
quality service of building permit (IMB) at the agency for investment, one stop
service, and employment of Barru regency was good. Two sub-variabel still needed
improvement namely timeliness in which the building permit should be delivered on
time as in the Standard Operasional Procedures (SOP) and the officials should be
more responsible to handle people complaints.
