CT STUDY OF FACE

Fractures mandible body are seen in midline with internally


displaced fragments. Adjacent soft tissue swelling is seen .

No evidence of any fracture is seen involving other bones of face and


orbit.

Rest of mandible is normal in outline. The angles, rami, coronoid and


condylar processes are normal. No evidence of any lytic or sclerotic
bony lesion is seen.

The maxilla is normal in outline. No bony lesion is seen in maxilla.

Bilateral T.M.J are normal in outline. Articular surface are smooth.


Joint spaces are maintained.

Both maxillary, frontal, ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses are clear.

OPINION:

FRACTURES MANDIBLE WITH SOFT TISSUE SWELLING AS DESCRIBED.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
