    Fibrotic, fibro-calcific and fibro-cystic opacities were seen in both of Geeta Upadhyaya's lungs. Her left lung volume was reduced and cystic areas were seen in both lung bases. Enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes up to 12x11mm were present. The findings were assessed as sequelae of Koch's chest with emphysematous changes in both lungs and hiatus hernia. Clinical correlation was recommended.

    NCCT STUDY OF CHEST

    Fibrotic , fibro-calcific and fibro-cystic parenchymal opacities are


    seen in both lungs. Cystic lucent areas are seen in both lung bases.
    Volume of left lung is reduced. No mass lesion is seen.

    No pleural effusion or pleural thickening is seen on either side.

    Few enlarged mediastinal lymphnodes are seen ,larger one measuring


    12x11mm in pretracheal region .

    Trachea is central.
    Heart size is normal.

    Lower end of esophagus is dilated with widened GE junction .

    Visualized portion of bones are seen normally.

    Soft tissues are seen normally.

    OPINION:

    FIBROTIC ,FIBRO-CALCIFIC AND FIBRO-CYSTIC PARENCHYMAL OAPCITIES IN BOTH


    LUNGS WITH REDUCED VOLUME OF LEFT LUNG WITH FEW ENLARGED MEDIASTINAL
    NODES SEQUALAE OF KOCHS CHEST.
    EMPHYSEMATOUS CHANGES IN BOTH LUNGS .
    HIATUS HERNIA .

    Clinical correlation is necessary.
