    a) what are the important principles for communications that use an assertive
    communication style and active listening?
    ANS: - The important five principles for communications that use an assertive behavior are
    1. stay focused.
    2. Listen carefully
    3. Try to see their point of view
    4. Respond to criticism with empathy
    5. Own whats yours

    b) what practices should be avoided?


    ANS: - Dont think any statement in your own language before communicating with others.
    This causes confusion between words and sentence formation which should be avoided while
    communication.
    c) in what areas can you improve your own communication skills?
    ANS: - For verbal communication while giving presentation, practice being brief yet specific
    enough. Which help to collect more information to understand other about your presentation
    what we are trying to say. So, we need to do more practice and should collect more
    information. In this area I need to improve while communicating with others.
