Lowering Voting Age for School Boards to 16

 Context:
School board 69 (Oceanside) voted to lower age to 16
Edmonton school boards also voted yes, interest in Toronto
Not a done deal, needs changes to School Act
Pros:
Lowering age would allow students to have more of a say in how their
schools are run
Will help teach how voting works
More involved in civics, better citizens
Cons:
Students that age may not know enough about how voting works
Students may be too irresponsible: popularity contest
