‘Sour Gas Chronology ~ October 30, 2012: An Oxbow area resident was exposed to high concentration of [12S on a public road that is located right adjacent to battery located at 10-11-3-2W2, 29(1) requiring medical attention at the hospital = On October 31, 2012 Federated Co-Operatives Ltd, Battery at 10-11-3-2W2 was suspended for releasing high levels of H2S. Operations have resumed on January 7, 2013 as the licensee has implemented corrective measures. A continuous emission monitoring system is installed outside the facility and the data are accessible by intemet by the resident and Ministry of the Economy (ECON). - November 17, 2012: ECON carried out an inspection sweep of area considered to be highest sour gas risk (South of Weyburn). In total 11 facilities were inspected and 11 facilities failed the inspection for the following reasons: — 8 facilities contributed significant volumes of sour gas emissions = 3 facilities routinely to generated landowner complaints Please note, 6 facilities were suspended (same.as shut-in) during the inspection: = Aldon Oils Ltd. 10-22-6-14W3 (problem resolved same day and reactivated) ~ Crescent Point 13-2-7-14W2 (problem resolved November 20, 2012 - reactivated cand air monitoring system installed) = Valleyview Petroleum 9-11-7-14W2 (problem resolved same day and reactivated) = Arc Resources 15-33-6-14W2 (problem resolved November 20, 2012 - reactivated and sir monitoring system installed) = Zargon 5-29-7-13W2 (problem resolved November 20, 2012 and reactivated) ~ Zargon SWB (single well battery) 3B4-07-4B12-06-07-12W2 (problem resolved January 15,2013 and reactivated) - November 29, 2012 the following batteries were suspended for sour gas infractions: = Crescent Point 5-34-5-6W2 (problem resolved December 20, 2012 and reactivated) = Husky 11-28-5-6W2 (problem resolved same day and reactivated) = December 11, 2012, ECON official (Todd Han) met with Executive Policy Group of Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (EPG CAPP) in Calgary, Alberta and provided an update on the emerging sour gas issue in SE Saskatchewan. Explores and.
