TITLE: PROJECT UPDATE DATE: 06/04/2016

Dynamic analysis of Jet Cooker Line Supports

1. Review existing drawings:

a. PB 05 - Reviewed
Details about the tower BB to be verified.
(Not much significance other than supports)
b. PB 02 - Reviewed
c. PB 06 - Reviewed
d. Jet cooker Structure Drawings being reviewed / as of now not fully matching will check
for the relevant location, top level.

2. Build STAAD Model

a. PB 05 - Modelled and loaded with Time History loading.

Local Failure was observed and torsion along the beam was high.
That might affect the connections to the columns.
b. PB 02 - Modelled and loaded with Time History loading.
Local Failure was observed and torsion along the beam (7m) was higher than PB05.
That might affect the connections to the columns.
c. PB 06 - Modelled and loaded with Time History loading.
Local Failure of Pipe support observed and torsion along the beam was high.
d. Jet cooker Structure - Model to be verified to available drawings and Site photos.

3. Analysis Structure

a. PB 05/02/06 Time History Loading done on the model. The dead loads to be added and
the results have to be compared to give the influence of the dead load along with the
dynamic loading.
Practical solutions to redirect the load path to reduce the torsion in the supporting beams
to be explored.
b. Jet cooker Structure Yet to be analysed.
