Rayan and Khalid building

Salam Allakum Rayan, today you worked with Khalid building and creating a place for your
spiders. Together you discussed what you were going to do, how you were going to do it, and
who was doing what. You were oblivious to what was going on around you and stayed focussed
on the task at hand. You made suggestions to Khalid and he listened and then compromised to
make sure your needs were being met on the building site, and you too listened to your friend
making sure he got his tower as well as your bridge. Together you were discovering different
ways to be creative and expressive. You showed great positive behaviour,which was your
individual learning goal this term.

You were able to explore, enjoy and describe patterns and relationships related to quantity,
number, measurement, shape and space. You showed us all these skills while being confident
in what you were doing. It was great to see the excitement on your faces as you placed your
spiders in their new home. Ma-sha-Allah you really are showing how ready you are for school,
you are preparing yourself for the primary environment. every day we see you grow in
confidence.

Comunication /Mana Reo: Children experience an environment where they find different ways
of being creative and expressive, expressing your feelings and ideas using a wide range of
materials and modes.

Exploration / Mana Aotuuroa: Over time and with guidance and encouragement children
become increasingly capable of making sense of their world by generating and refining working
theories.
