    BUTTERFLY GARDEN
    Departure Bay Eco School working cooperatively with Vancouver Island
    University Education students have embarked on a project with their
    primary classes to make the world a better place.

    Our 5 kindergarten and grade 1 classes brainstormed ideas on how to


    help create a home for the butterflies they are studying. Last year all the
    butterflies flew away when released. Those students (now in gr.1) have
    decided that creating a castle of flowers for the butterflies will help them
    have a better life at our school. THANK YOU SIGNAGE
    WILL BE CREATED
    We are looking for ANY butterfly friendly plant donations which our
    students will plant themselves. In creating a welcoming home for the ADVERTISING YOUR
    butterflies, our students are learning the value of contributing to our BUISNESS
    community, taking care of others (including our plants and animals) and
