National Walk & Bike to School Day: THIS Wednesday, 10/04, is National Walk & Bike to School Day! We are
encouraging students to take advantage of this awesome weather and walk and bike or scooter to school!

DMC Bike Rodeo 2017: Our super fun Bike Rodeo is next Friday, October 6th, hosted by our school PTA! We still need
volunteers for the day of the event. Please contact Mr. Dan Bollard for volunteering information at
dbollard99@hotmail.com or call 702-612-0792. Students will bring their bikes or scooters that day and place them INSIDE
the campus around the playground fencing.

PTA Reflections is Under Way: This years theme for PTA Reflections is Within Reach. Reflections is a national student
competition of Liberal Arts involving literature, photography, music composition, and visual arts. We encourage all our
students to participate and celebrate them as DMC has made it to State and Nationals multiple years in a row! Flyer is
included in this newsletter and came home with students last week.

PTA News: Our Box Tops is underway and the Pizza Contest for classes runs through October 13th. Box Tops are
found on almost everything purchased from a grocery store and listed items can be found at
http://www.boxtops4education.com/ear/participating-products. There is also a Box Tops app you can load into your phone
and can your receipt for immediate rewards. We get credit for BOTH scanned receipts and clipped box tops, one shopping trip
could earn close to $6.00 for our school. Did you know our school PTA is registered with Amazon Smile? When you shop
on Amazon a small portion of your purchase made comes to our school when youre on smile.amazon.com. You still can use
it for Amazon Prime too! Did you know that theres a program called Shoparoo? Its an app for your phone in which
you scan your store (any store) receipt and the school earns money! Theres a lot of programs to help fund our school and we
are always looking for ways to get money into our classrooms and programs!

Kiss and Go ZONE!

Parents, please remember that the front of the school is a drop off and go, not a park and get out of the car. It is a red zone and people are not able to drop off
their kids due to parked cars. There is NO LEFT TURN OUT OF THE LOT!
We have gate entrances on Robindale, Clark, and Sandalwood to drop off besides the front of the school!
