Dear Parents and Guardians,

My name is Matt Tokariuk and I am PS II student teacher from the University of Lethbridge. I have been

placed in your childs classroom for the months of March and April. During this time, I will take over

teaching the subjects of math and science. In math, I plan to begin the fractions unit where we will

explore where fractions can be used and how to express them in different ways. In science, I will

continue on with the recently started Classroom Chemistry unit. In this unit, we will look at topics such

as substances changing from gases to liquids to solids and determining mixtures and pure substances. I

look forward to teaching the class and I hope that we can all learn and grow as a group.
