Re: Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award

Dear Parent/Carer

Your son/daughter has shown an interest in participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award.
The cost of enrolment is 20 and participants will be expected to purchase some of the expedition
equipment (a kit list will be provided on confirmation of place). There is also an additional 5
required to cover the cost of the Expeditions and pupils must fully complete at least two of the three
areas, Physical, Volunteering and Skill before participating in these expeditions.

Expedition dates are as follows and will involve one overnight camp.
(Please note these may be subject to change depending on the school calendar)

Practice: June 6th 7th 2018

Qualifier: Sept 5th 6th 2018

Please complete the attached Duke of Edinburgh enrolment form, enclosing a cheque for 25
(payable to Invergordon Academy) and return to Mr Rasmussen by Monday 30th October.
