    o Christopher Columbus, Henry Hudson, Jacques Cartier, John Cabot, Juan Ponce de Leon,
    Hernando De Soto or Vasco Nunez de Balboa
    Create a mini poster of your explorer (Does not need to be tri-fold)
    You must include the following on your poster
    o Completed Graphic Organizer ___/30pts
    o Reason for voyage, sponsoring country or person & year of voyage ___/30pts
    o Write a paragraph (not copied from a website) explaining the
    outcome of the voyage. ___/30pts
    Be sure to check for correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation
    o Student drawn illustrations/ printed photos, overall visual appeal ___/10 pts
    Be prepared to give an oral presentation of your poster in class.
