Time: 5-7 • Give each S a piece of paper.
• Have each S divide his paper in fourths, but don’t cut or tear apart.
Demonstrate on board.
• In each fourth, the S must draw something that describes him. i.e.- S draws a
guitar b/c S likes music. Or S draws family b/c fam is important.

• Have the students take turns telling about flags.

• Give tape to hold pieces together
• Each group will make a combination flag for their group to be presented to the
whole class.
• Have a designated group speaker who will explain the flag, or four speakers,
one to explain a quarter of the flag.
• T monitors each group to see that they are speaking English only as they work
together.
**Give each group markers/ crayons, or they can just use pens/pencils.
