Since there were only 11 respondents in which 6 respondents coming from

operations departments and the other 5 respondents from the internal audit department

of Norkis Trading Co. Inc.. We, the researchers have decided to conduct a survey

involving 100% of the target population since the number of target respondents were

few enough to extract the desired data.

Survey questionnaires were used to extract data that were distributed to line/operating
managers and audit personnel.
The data extracted were interpreted:
I. Statistically through the use of:
a. Likert scale in which rating scale was measured using weighted average

b. Frequency distribution- which is used to interpret the data that was extracted
from the questions not answerable with the rating scale. With this, frequency
tables were used in which the respondents answers were categorized based on
the given possible answers from which the researchers got the percentage of
frequency in each category.

If the difference of the responses is 10 % above the difference is significant

If the difference is below 10% it is considered as a minor one.
Whether the difference is negative or positive, the basis was its absolute value.

II. Content analysis- As to the treatment of data from the open ended question, the
researchers used content analysis which means analyzing the contents of the
respondents responses in order to identify the main themes.
