I. Terminal Objective
By the end of the lesson, students are able to :
a. Mention things or equipments in football
b. Make sentences by using simple present tense

II. Enabling Objectives


a. Students are able to know the vocabulary of soccer and their meanings
b. Students are able to make sentences by using simple present tense
c. Students are able to fill in the blanks of sentences by using correct verb
d. Students are able to answer questions based on the reading passage

2 Warming up: Teacher activates students attention on the 5
vocabulary items with the help of short video

IV. Scenario of Main Activity


1. Teacher plays the video and ask the students to do the instructions
2. Students work in groups of 4-5 and watch the short video
3. Students find the soccers equipment in the video
4. In groups, students answer to teachers question.
5. The group who has the closest to right answer is the winner

V. Skill Practice
1. Teacher uses the flash cards to activates students memory of soccers
vocabulary items
2. Students mention the words from the flash cards
3. Teacher gives example to make a sentence in simple present tense by using
items in the flash cards
4. Students imitate the teacher
5. In groups, students make sentences on their own by using vocabulary in soccer

VI. Summing Up
Students watch brief video on soccer

VII. Assessment

Students-in pairs- are to identify the simple present tense in a lyric of a song that
is played 2 times and write their findings on a piece of paper and submit it to
teachers.
