their work? MINIMUM 2 paragraph overview.

Students will be using PowerPoint to solve multiplication facts, and come up with stories for each problem.
Following the standard, they will describe a context where the two numbers make a total number of objects
can be expressed as _x_= _. The students have already formulated some understanding of multiplication, but
will be free to create 5 story problems in regards to multiplication problems. The students can work in pairs,
and they will complete the PowerPoint which will be graded based on having: recorded audio (reading the
story problems aloud), visuals/images of the story items, correct display of the problem showing groups and
items in a group, and creative stories matching the problem. They will also be graded on participation,
cooperation and effort.
This will be a two-day activity, as the students have free time to develop creative problems and ideas to
display in to their PowerPoint. Their complete product will be shared with the class. The teacher will give one
example prior to the students working to give the students a preview of what she expects. From there, the
teacher will walk around the room and help the students if they are struggling.
