employees of the PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT, FIRST FLOOR, SECOND FLOOR,

the data collection and as well as my field work training in the company and helping and

PREFACE
Job satisfaction is one of the important factors which have drawn attention of managers in the
organization as well as academicians. Various studies have been conducted to find out the
factors which determine job satisfaction and the way it influences productivity in the
organization.

Human Resource is the most valuable asset in an organization and the HR department is the
heart of the organization. Human Resource Management mainly deals with the management
of the people and welfare. Therefore, being a student pursuing MBA, we gained knowledge
about functions of personnel department and many other aspects like Gratuity, Attendance
Record, and Maintenance of personal records, Change management structure, and other
welfare facilities with practical implementation of them. We also learnt functions regarding
to the HR functions related to the staff with the co – operation of the staff members.
