The online help desk product has been developed in order to serve as an
alternative to the manual hostel booking system and club registration system
that exist in the college campus . Moreover it would also provide a set
mechanism for receiving feedback about mess menu ,search different labs and
classes in the college and ask queries related to any topic in context of the
institute. Such automated mechanism are new in the field of college help desk
projects .
Product functionality
The major functionalities that the system provides are
1. Normal user student, their parents , teachers as well as any other party
who wants to know about the college would be grouped under this
category. No login would be provide for such a user .these people are the
major target audience .
2. Admin the admin would be provided with special privileges of changing
the database that is being used to provide the various facilities. The
admin would has the responsibility of periodically updating the system.
Teacher teachers and the faculty would primarily use the system to
answer queries and to know about where the various classes, labs are
located in the college.
Student would use the system to give feedback about the mess menu ,
booking hostel room , to register for clubs and to .
Admin- would use the system to update the systems database .
Operating environment
The system would work on different operating environment given the system
has internet access. The software would be accessible to the potential
students who want to join the campus and would serve as medium to
