Kane, from Ms. Van Den Broekes class accepted the Spirit of Sunrise Class Award. Ms. Taylors
class nominated the Kindergarten class for demonstrating Respect as they quietly traveled on
campus.



Sunrise Drive Elementary School Sunrise Drive was awarded the "Great Team" award at the
University of Arizona Confucius Institute's Language and Culture Day on September 30. The
school garnered several awards under the leadership of our Chinese Literacy and Culture
Teacher, Ms. Ning He, including the following:

Primary Level Second Place awarded to "Little Horse Crosses the River," performed by Alexa,
Adelyn, Norah, Quinn, and William.

Primary Level First Place awarded to "The Beautiful Rooster," performed by Greta, Miles,
Miles, Sara, and Sofie.

Intermediate Level Second Place awarded to "Self-Contradictory," performed by Braedan,
Caleb, Daniel, Lucas, and Zoe.

Intermediate Level First Place awarded to "There Just to Make Up the Number," performed by
Celine, Chloe, Hannah, Raiden, and Sophia.
