Bakhawan Eco-Park

It is a 220-hectare mangrove forest where you can immerse yourself deeper into the dense forest through a 1.3
kilometer bamboo trail. At the end of the trail, you will enjoy the magnificent view of two bodies of water - the Aklan
River and the Sibuyan sea which is just separated by a sandbar. For the adventurous, take a kayak and explore
around the mangrove forest or make your way to the sandbar where you can relax in the huts or sun bathe and swim
in the beach.

Exotic Culinary

The Bakhawan experience would not be complete without trying the bizarre yet delicious local exotic food, the
"Tamilok". It is a white and slimy worm-like mollusk however it is not a real worm. Others may squirm but challenge
you! Dip it in spicy vinegar and its magnifico! Some even say its better than oysters.
