Qualifications & Experience (Minimum Academic Qualifications, Skills, Professional Experience & Training required to perform the job):

Bachelors Degree in engineering preferably metallurgy/mechanics or equivalent.


Qualification in NDT and various areas of Inspection.
15 years experience in the inspection field in which a minimum of five years as Inspection Operations Manager.
Experience with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries within GCC is an added advantage

Job Purpose:

Role holders at this stage are responsible for providing guidance to lower stage employees in specific areas of expertise.
They develop, administer and improve their area of inspections. They are able to make decisions on the appropriate
course of action based on the results of their work activities.

Accountabilities:
Independently carry out varied assignments requiring broad and deep technical knowledge and understanding of the
cross impacts of the work on other areas, and often requiring development of new or improved systems/ processes/
techniques/ products.
Provide technical expertise; participate in technical interactions with customers, suppliers, licensor or internal teams to
address problems, which require technical advice for timely resolution.
Lead and coach team members apply best practices, assess problems and generate alternative solutions for escalated
issues. Provide formal & informal feedback in order to maximize their overall performance.
Provide detailed training to team members in their area of expertise.
Manage and relocate resources as required.
Maintain and develop knowledge of technical innovations through association with professional organizations.
Provide, build and maintain excellent client relationships and ensure that all service standards are met.
Act on behalf of the company, making full use of technical expertise, when required.
Identify any possible business opportunities and advise all appropriate business areas.
Completes necessary procedures to satisfy licensing requirements, and indicates concurrence with acceptance or
rejection decisions.
Handle the discussion with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures,
and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and needed repairs.
Maintain the highest level of quality control.
Tests and measures finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or
assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.
Inspects materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjusts process or assembly
equipment to meet standards.
Ensure reports, recommendations and needed actions are communicated effectively and completed in a timely
manner.
