1. Generalist Analyst
We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Operations group based out of the firm's office in
Hyderabad, India. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Finance along with up to two years of
relevant experience in the financial services industry. The candidate should also have a high level of attention to
detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and an ability to collaborate well with the other groups. The
Financial Operations group is an integral part of our global operations. If hired, you will support one or more of
the functions mentioned below: - Management Reporting - Team responsibilities include preparing firm-wide P&L
reports, handling processes related to expenses and time allocations, and preparing a firm-wide expense budget.
The team works closely with senior management including the office of the COO, business unit heads, and
portfolio managers to provide key performance metrics for effective decision making. The team analyzes P&L,
expenses, capital, returns, fees, taxes, and annual changes in firm-wide and business-unit-level expenses,
among others. - Pricing - Team responsibilities include understanding the firm's private equity businesses,
researching and analyzing a portfolio company's fundamentals, and performing in-depth competitor analysis. The
team is responsible for building, updating, and maintaining valuation models that incorporate the terms of the
investment and adhere to the accounting/audit guidelines, preparing detailed documentation of valuation
methodology, monitoring deal inputs and assumptions for their relevance on a periodic basis, and facilitating deal
reviews by third parties. - Investor Relations - Team responsibilities include maintaining and processing various
transactions (withdrawals, subscriptions, etc.) at an investor level and drafting customized documents for a
variety of transactions. This team interacts extensively with our investors and their respective
administrators/custodians. The team is responsible for preparing several reports that are eventually used by
senior management. The team also works closely with consultants/relationship mangers to market our
Institutional Asset Management side of the business. - Compliance - This team works closely with the global
Compliance team to support day-to-day management of the firm's compliance program, including implementing
and enforcing policies and procedures that align both with the internal Code of Ethics as well as any external
rules and regulations. The team is also involved in various regulatory filing obligations and in monitoring and
implementing controls designed to ensure compliance with global rules and regulations (such as those
concerning insider trading prevention, anti-money laundering ('AML'), and global trading restrictions).
