Important Guide Lines

In view of recent serial blasts in Hyderabad and other cities, all the owners of Cyber
Cafs are requested to follow the guidelines given under: Cyber Caf owners shall
not allow any user to use their computers without the identity of the user being
established before him.

He shall also collect a Xerox photo I.D. of the user issued by any Educational
institutions / Passport / Voter-I.D. / PanCard / Ration Card / Driving license / Photo
Credit-Debit cards.

The Management should maintain a "Log Register", which contains the following
details. Name of the User

Age & Sex of the user

Present residential address of the user

Telephone number (mobile/land line) of the user

E-mail I.D. of the user

Log-in & Log-out time.

Number of the system allotted

Signature of the user.

The Management has to send the names of the users/suspects to the concerned
Police Station to check the antecedents of the user.

All cyber cafes shall be closed at 2300hrs like all other establishments.

The Management shall not allow the minors (below 12 years) into the cyber cafe,
unless accompanied by their parents / guardians.

The Managements must ensure their cabins cab be seen from the outside clearly.
There should be sufficient illumination inside the cabin and also ensure that they
should not use the tinted glass for getting clear visibility.

The Management has to take the photographs of the users through webcam before
they enters to love on to the internet and keep the record of al user/visitors for a
period of 2 to 3 months.

The Cyber cafe Management has to keep close observation/surveillance on the

visitors, if any suspicious behavior is noticed, he should immediately report to
the concerned police station or control Room or dial 100.
