Assault Report to the University Community

The purpose of this notice is to inform the University Community about forcible sex offenses that have come to the attention of the OU Police
Department that were reported to have occurred on campus. While these notices are designed to increase public awareness, they also serve to
dispel misinformation/rumors about a crime or incident. Assault Report notices are posted on the OUPD website for a period of sixty (60) days.

Reported Crime: Rape

Date & Time: Occurred Sept 28, 2017 between midnight and 2 a.m.; reported Oct. 11, 2017

Location: East of Bizzell Memorial Library

OUPD Report #: 17-1358

Incident Details: Victim reported that an unknown male sexually assaulted her.

Suspect Information: Male, tall, wearing a black hoodie.

Police Investigative Results: The investigation is ongoing.

Crime Prevention Tips: Be aware of surroundings at all times. Consider using SafeRide or
SafeWalk. Call police if you observe suspicious behavior.
