Boy Scouts visit BFCC


Summer beautification was a huge success thanks to Boy
Scout troops from all over the state.
This summer, Ben Franklin Career Center was fortunate to host members of
the Venture Group from the Boy Scout Jamboree. They were here as part of
this yearly event and volunteered their services to help us make our campus Adult Welding

LADY MAKES HER MARK IN A TRADITIONALLY MALE FIELD


Mr. Jason Allen (Ben Franklins diesel instructor) would like to give a
shout-out to Hannah Carpenter of St. Albans High School. Hannah
has a high A in Diesel with a 3.0 GPA at her home high school. She
is 16 years old and lives in St. Albans andworks for a lawn mowing
business (If anyone needs their grass cut LOL). Hannah excels in
Diesel and dreams of becoming a top Diesel technician one day.
