I am honored to be writing this letter of recommendation for Anna Schmidt.

In my 38 years of education I am always blessed to find someone with Anna Schmidts character and passion
for teaching. I worked with Anna as elementary program coordinator, professor, and general education
advisor. I recognized from the very start that she truly gets it when it comes to being a passionate and
professional educator.

Anna has spent her time while at Siena Heights University filling every moment with opportunities to grow
and improve, while always finding ways to work with kids, both during the school year and summer months.
During her time in TEACH (Teacher Education Association for Community Help) Anna drove much of the
planning, and implementation of activities throughout the year. The organization grew, and accomplished
more in almost every area than any other year since its inception. Her leadership was appreciated and
honored by all members and faculty.

During Annas student teaching she made life long impacts with her students, and the work she accomplished
with her cooperating teacher exceeded expectations or requirements of the program. Anna is driven to
succeed, yet personable enough to always be inclusive and respectful of all her students.

Anna Schmidt will be a rich and positive addition to any faculty team and school who is fortunate enough to
have the opportunity to hire her. That school will be getting one of our best!
