This recipients commitment to Penn State and the Beaver Campus has been exemplary. He has
represented the campus and student perspective via service on a host of committees and meetings with
administrators and faculty, alumni, advisory board, and student governing bodies over a period of years.
He actively seeks feedback and constructive criticism to inform perceptions and positions regarding
issues and concerns. He dedicates time to the development of his peers assisting them in their growth as
student leaders.

His calendar is always full as he balances community service with significant leadership responsibilities
on campus and within the University. His academic performance is impressive as well. He has served as
a research assistant presenting at a professional conference in California under the supervision of Dr.
Harcar. He volunteers a great deal of time and effort in the community mentoring youth in the region
through the development programs of the Boy Scouts of America. He also volunteers and serves the
community and Country as an Assistant Communications Officer in the Civil Air Patrol.
