Narrator Monologues

Narrator 1 Let us take you back, when the world was really young, and civilisation was less
civil and time had just begun. There was a Prince, and his servants, who was
meant to hunt and fish. But girls, would often distract him. You see, he really was
a dish!!
Narrator 2 The sun was quite relentless, for the world, it had no night..and the Prince was born
quite lazy, resistant to his plight..So he spent his days meandering from the jobs that
made him glum.and this is our first story, called where the night came from

Narrator 1 And so a celebration did ensue, and then a marriage too.. With Cornelia by his side ,
the Prince showed off his bride..but as the months passed with great will, the Princess
became quite ill.

Narrator 2 So the bag was handed over, the journey now half done, the three ascending
through the waves to meet the midday sun..And back to land the group did
fare, with a question hanging in the air. What was really in the bag? and if they
looked, could it be so bad?

Narrator 1 So Nightime descended upon the land, and no one could fathom or understand,
how the day had just vanished to become something new, and the world was now
different as darkness ensued. The creatures and people, ran scared from their beds,
But Cornelia, for the first time, felt good in her head..

Narrator 2 So the truth came out..and everyone gasped as the three guilty parties couldnt stop
what was asked..They turned into monkeys and lept up and down and Jonas was
Pardoned and hailed by the crowd..and using his magic the King of the waves made
those evil monkeys chase the nightime away.

King Chase the night!!

Narrator Out they ran chasing the Sky, and day came upon them as the King said Goodbye
And month after month, as the years rolled on, the world grew accustomed to
where the night came from

Narrator Welcome to this story, a spin of modern times, where actions become indulgent,
and people lose their mind. How people can be jealous, of others new success, and from
this leads not happy times, but just an awful mess. Two starlit rappers, on the stage
duelling on as such, to win the competition and gain the Golden touch

Narrator Our last story, is an urban tale, that through the years has cast a spell, on many a
driver on a stormy night, when by themselves has seen a sight, that defies
explanation, or in trepidation that pulls you over to explore your fixationDid
you see it, can you decipher the figure that looks like the abandoned hitch hiker..
