AIR.LUME HG
Air-Lume HG is a heat removal
recessed troffer for grid ceilings
designed to remove air from the
occupied space and pass it through
the lamp compartment into
the ceiling plenum. This reduces
lamp and ballast operating
temperatures, significantly
increasing light output and
extending ballast life. Air Lume
HG has the same fine mechanical
fealures as Kelslone Premier serie'
troffers.
Heat Removal- Increases Iumen
output of the lamps due to cooler
operation. Ballasts last Ionger and
air conditioning loads are reduced.

offering a choice of one piece or
twin-panel diffusers in a single
frame.
Housing- 5" deep and constructed
of two halves, die formed for
maximum rigidity. A lifetime
mechanical light seal on all four
sides elirrinates unsightly light
leaks. Available for exposed grid, or
flanged for plaster or concealed
mechanical ceilings. The flanged
housings have extruded aluminum
mitered trims.
Shielding Frame- Offered in flush
steel, flush or regressed aluminum.
Standard finish is white. and the
aluminum frames can be ordered in
Latches-Slide type on all frames.

MODULAR WIRING
Modular wiring systems are being offered by a nurnber of
manufacturers to reduce installation costs, provide relocation
flexibility, and qualify for certain tax benefits by making the fixtures
"plug-in" units. The receptacles for these units are part of the overall
system and therefore are supplied to the lighting manufacturer by the
electrical contractor. Keystone will install and electrically connect
the modular wiring receptacle into most troffers fexcept 4 x 4) at a
nominal charge. Systems using Dual-lite, Walker-Parkersburg, AFC,
Hubbell, Reloc and Electro-Connect receptacles can be installed in
Keystone troflers. Contact your Keystone representative for
availability and pricing.
3.LITE TANDEM SYSTEM

Keystone offers a 3-lamp 2 x 4 troffer, tandem
wired, which utilizes three two lamp ballasts
shared by two fixtures, The interconnecting
wiring is accomplished by factory assembled
cables of 6, 9, or 12 ft. length complete with
plugs and receptacles for quick, easy
installation. Combine this feature with energy
saving ballasts and lamps for the most
economical installation possible. Add to this a
modular wiring system such as Dual-lite and
you have lhe ulljmale in labor saring
installations. This 3-lamp tandem system can
be added to any Keystone threeJamp 2 x 4
troffer. Specify by catalog number and length
of connecting cable assembly. Example;
21340-B-EXA-120v-9Ft. This number would
include two 2 x 4-3 lamp troffers and the 9
foot connecting cable.

rectilinear design.
Housing-Heavy gauge die embossed construction
for maximum rigidity. Heat sink embossments and
leveling projections allow the Diplomat to be
mounted directly to a combustible low density
cellulose fiberboard ceiling.
Shielding-Clear prismatic acrylic, hinging from
either side. It has a flat bottom and vertical sides
which include longitudinal prisms to effectively
control visual brightness and direct light onto the
adjacent ceiling for a more cornfortable bright-
ness ratio.
Ends-white injection molded plastic ends give a
finished appearance and are removable lor row

Keyslone's Emergency Lighting System

provides automatic and instantaneous safe lighting to meet
U.L. and N.E.C. requirements in the event of an
interruption of power to the fixture for any reason. The
system is available in most standard Keystone fixtures. It
permits the emergency lighting to be an integral and
inconspicuous part of the total lighting system without the
need ol bulky and unattractive special purpose fixtures.
Operalion-
In the event of a power failure, whether in the immediate
area of the fixture or a complete system-wide shutdown,
the battery-operated inverter ballast cuts in to operate one
of the lamps-even a "dead lamp"-in the fixture at
reduced output for over g0 minutes. This will enable
occupants to vacate the building. The highly efficient solid
state charger will completely recharge the battery cells in
14 to 16 hours. Batteries are unconditionally guaranteed
for one year.
Construction-
The self-contained, independently operated emergency
units contain a solid state inverter/charger and a nickel-
cadmium battery in addition to normal fixture
components. Fixtures are also provided with a visible pilot
light which indicates charger condition at a glance, and a
test switch to simulate a power failure so that the system
may be checked. Biasing circuit prevents cell reversal and
system failure. All fixtures equipped with Keystone
Emergency Lighting Systems are U.L. listed and use only
U.L, listed components.

Energy Miser incorporates the highest efficiency electromagnetic energy saving ballasts available today, plus
iactory installed 34/35 watt energy saving four foot bi-pin lamps.
This troffer reduces power 2oo/o and not only saves on direct electrical load, but it saves on air conditioning
loadings through cooler operation as well. This cooler operation signilicantly increases ballast life. Combined
with Keystone's already proven heat sink embossments under each ballast, the Energy Miser provides about
twice the normal ballast life expectancy [20 years vs. 10 years projected for standard ballasts].
The Keystone fourJamp Energy Miser is a justifiable alternative to other energy saving fluorescent systems, such
as three lamp 2 x 4 troffers, on both a watts-per-sq-foot basis and a total unit installed cost for any given lighting
level.
