5404 Monterey Cove NW 6400 UPTOWN BLVD. NE ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87114 Albuquerque, NM 87114 OCTOBER 13, 2017 mmmart55@asu.edu Dear Albuquerque Public Schools, (505) 573-3407 Thank you for taking the time to review my resume and consider me as a candidate for a teaching position with Albuquerque Public Schools.
I am currently a Junior at Arizona State University, where I am
majoring in educational studies. I have an associates degree in elementary education, that I earned at Central New Mexico Community College. Through my studies I have learned both potential issues and strategies that I can use to help further students education. I have learned how to apply lessons and curriculum in both a traditional and non-traditional classroom setting. I have learned about the development of a child, and how to aid children throughout their development.
I have had a lot of experience in the classroom. I volunteer in a
Kindergarten classroom, where I work with small groups of children on different lessons. I have also had the opportunity to student teach in a fifth-grade inclusion classroom, where I have been able to work with both general and special ed students. I have a passion for working with children with special needs and feel that my skills and passion would be a great asset to Albuquerque Public Schools.
