Since May 8th, God has had me only do minimum news reading and news talk listening. He is
healing me via Christian music and two new compassionate friends who know English.

Did you have weekend blessings?

Update about my weekend: The Friday Bible studies via the Internet were about food in the
Bible. Most of the next day, I had a wonderful time logically formatting some passages in
Acts and listening to a lot of wonderful Christian music via four Internet stations. The Holy
Spirit knows just what I need at various times. I love living Proverbs 3:5-6 so I can be
sensitive to him. Then on Sunday morning I was also very blessed. My Wednesday “Good
Samaritan” phoned me to inform me that a friend of his was going to come and meet me at the
tram stop to take me to a church. At first I told Danara that I didn’t need to go today, maybe
next week. But he insisted because he believes I need more fellowship with English speakers.
So Kurt called me and I met him at the nearby tram stop about a half hour later. He had to buy
some rolls for lunch after church in the railroad station. We got to the church a little late, but
the song they sang many times was one of three that I needed. The words of the three first
songs in worship were as follows:

1.) “Your are the One I adore.

You are the One, I give You praise.
You give us healing.
You give us grace.
You are the One I adore.”

2.) “Jesus, all for Jesus.

All of my ambitions, hopes, and plans,
I surrender these into your hands.
For it’s only in Your will that I am free.”

3.) “Behold, be strong

For the Lord, your God, is with you.
I am not afraid, I am not dismayed,
Cause I walk in faith and victory.
Come on and walk in faith and victory,
For the Lord, your God, is with you.”

Then there were two songs about victory by and in Jesus Christ, then a song about the Holy
Spirit and His power, and then a song about holiness.

The pastor emphasized about the importance of the Bible in his life. Then his sermon was
mostly about the importance of getting to really know Jesus Christ and focusing on Him. He
used the following Scripture (and I added the last verse):
John 10:11--
Jesus Christ said,
“I am The Good Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.”

1
Philippians 3:10--
“that I may know Him
and the power of His resurrection
and the fellowship of His sufferings,
being made conformable to His death;”

John 14:4-11--
“4 (Jesus said,) And where I go you know,
and the way you know.’
5 Thomas said to Him, ‘Lord, we do not know where You go,
and how can we know the way?’
6 Jesus said to him,
‘I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life;
no one comes to the Father but by Me.
7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.
And from now on you know Him and have seen Him.’
8 Philip said to Him, ‘Lord, show us The Father, and it is enough for us.’
9 Jesus said to him,
‘Have I been with you such a long time and yet you have not known Me, Philip?
He who has seen Me has seen The Father.
And how do you say, “Show us the Father?”
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and The Father in Me?
The Words that I speak to you I do not speak of Myself,
but The Father who dwells in Me, He does the works.
11 Believe Me that I am in The Father and The Father in Me,
or else believe Me for the very works themselves.’”

Matthew 16:13-17--
“13 And coming into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, Jesus asked His disciples, saying,
‘Who do men say Me to be, The Son Of Man?
14 And they said, ‘Some say, John the Baptist; some, Elijah;
and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.’
15 He said to them, ‘But who do you say I am?’
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, ‘You are The Christ, The Son of The Living God.’
17 Jesus answered and said to him, ‘You are blessed, Simon, son of Jonah,
for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you,
but My Father in Heaven.’”

Exodus 14:13--
“And Moses said to the people,
‘Do not fear.
Stand still and see the salvation of Jehovah, which He will prepare for you this day.
For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them anymore.’”

Job 42:1-6
“1 And Job answered Jehovah and said,
2 ‘I know that You can do all,
and not any purpose is withheld from You.
3 Who is he who hides counsel without knowledge?
Therefore I have spoken what I did not understand;
2
things too wonderful for me;
yea, I did not know.
4 Hear, I beseech You, and I will speak;
I will ask You,
and You will cause me to know.
5 I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear;
but now my eye has seen You.
6 Therefore I despise myself,
and repent in dust and ashes.’”

John 10:11 & 14-16--

Jesus Christ said,
“11 I am The Good Shepherd.
The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
I am The Good Shepherd,
and I know those that are Mine,
and I am known by those who are Mine.
15 Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father.
And I lay down My life for the sheep.
16 And I have other sheep who are not of this fold.
I must also lead those,
and they shall hear My voice,
and there shall be one flock,
one Shepherd.”

And we had a nice lunch after church. I got a ride home and it was about 3:00 PM. I was able
to share Bible truths with 3 individuals, but those first three worship songs sure made me feel
good. I hope that victory will soon happen in my return back to my homeland.

Trying to go onwards a new stage of my life,
